School Dinners
School Dinners cost £2.30 per day (£11.50 per week/£46.00 per month).
Packed Lunch
If you prefer your child to bring a packed lunch, please ensure your child remembers to bring their packed lunch into school with them on arrival at 8.40am. Packed lunches are no longer to be brought to the school office.
We encourage all Parents & Carers to provide a healthy and balaced packed lunch for their children. Children who have a nutritionally balanced meal will be able to concentrate better during lessons.
If your child has any medically diagnosed food allergies or intolerances please contact the school office.
School policy dictates no hot food / flasks in packed lunches due to safety reasons.
If you wish to change your child’s meal pattern (ie from school meal to packed lunch) please give one week’s notice to the school office.
Universal Free School Meals
Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals (which every child gets regardless of income or circumstances).
Free School Meals (from September 2026)
From September 2026, all children whose parents or carers receive Universal Credit will be entitled to free school meals, regardless of age.
If you are currently receiving Universal Credit, your child will qualify. We encourage all eligible families to apply, as this also helps the school access additional funding to support pupils.
For full details on eligibility and how to apply, please visit the Government website:

If you believe your child is eligible, or you would like support with an application, please contact the school office—we’re happy to help.
