Mental Health and Wellbeing
We believe that if we can help to meet the emotional needs of your child then they will have a greater chance of fulfilling their academic potential. We care for the health and wellbeing of all children, knowing that a happy child will thrive and become confident learners.
At Heald Place we are pleased to offer a range of interventions which are available to all children at different times of the year. These include the lunch time clubs of Relaxation and Chatterbox. We also offer therapeutic play, children’s Hatha yoga and Turn the Page Counselling. Please feel free to speak to the therapeutic team about any aspect of these provisions.
We would like to remind Parents/Carers that a healthy breakfast is available for children each morning at Breakfast Club from 8.20am to 8.40am. Please ensure your child has a good breakfast each morning, at home or at Breakfast Club as this effects their ability to concentrate and to fulfil their potential as learners.
As of September 2024, this will be £1.50 from 8.00am - 8.40am or 50p from 8.20am - 8.40am.
