An Amazing Project at The Whitworth with Ibukun Baldwin
This year Heald Place have worked with the artist and designer Ibukun Baldwin. Year 5 have designed the first 'Box of Creativity' as part of the Whitworth's new 'School Of Creativity'. During the pandemic, we were able to have the sessions in the Whitworth Art garden and the new Studio. The art activity in the box, designed by Heald Place, will be loaned to schools all around Manchester!
The theme for the box was making a "Safe Space" and pupils have spent sessions working collaboratively with Ibukun to share their exciting and unique ideas. Wow Heald Place!
Thanks to Ibukun Baldwin and Steven Roper at the Whitworth. This was a brilliant project thoroughly enjoyed by all the children involved!
